To Forgive and Forget

Forgive and forget is what most of us find really hard to do. A lot of the times we say we forgive somebody to end up bringing up the past over and over again to realize you haven't forgot about what happened.
We believe there are some things that are not easy to forgive and forget because we feel that if we forgive them, they will abuse your kindness and keep doing it over and over and over again. We do have a limit to tolerate everything, as well as we should, who wants to be a pushover?


I would ask my friends about forgiveness and I noticed that girls in general "Forgive but do not FORGET!!!"


The best thing I did was search the good book and read about what God felt about forgiveness.. and  I came across this…


Heb 8:12
12 "For I will be merciful to their iniquities,
And I will remember their sins no more." 
(NASB)


Which practically means God does forgive and Forget.. that is very great and all and good to know because that is a good example of forgiveness…but then again, I thought about the times I would ask for forgiveness and kept on doing the same thing over and over again…and that is where there is nobody to judge me but God because we've all done the same one way or another. 
So I'm going to finish this by saying.. Truly forgive if you are going to forgive somebody, and if you are going to ask for forgiveness, DON'T DO IT AGAIN!!!
